Ukiyo is a Japanese art style dating back to the Edo period that depicted scenes of everyday life; it expresses the philosophical concept of living in the present moment, accepting the ephemeral nature of existence.
Like the "Images of the Floating World," these aren't really stories. Or rather, they're not just stories. They're snapshots of possible, more or less paraphrased worlds, photographs on paper that deserve a moment's space and reveal their microcosm of emotions.
This collection is a concept album that explores the Multiverse, dividing the complexity of humanity and its journey through the various forms of matter into microstories. Here, past, present, and future dissolve into a single horizon, and people intertwine their lives, going far beyond the concept of destiny.
Follow the thread that links the protagonists of the stories, because it will then lead you to the VOIDOBORN saga
UKIYO comes after my essay "Beyond the Visible - Spirit and Matter through Quantum Physics"
